This network of semi-urban MTB trails traverse parts of the Constantia Green Belt system. As such there is no "trail head" or specific car park. The trails are extremely well mapped and described on Trailforks which shows location and access points. The trails are mostly multi-use tracks that were previously restricted to pedestrians and horses. As such they are not MTB trails like you will find at Tokai, for the most part. There is some technical descending and climbing however and the Cork Tree trail has drop offs, rock gardens and a few small berms. Not strictly part of the Green Belt, but linked to it, the Cecilia/Kirstenbosch/Newlands Forest traverse is a stunning scenic ride with rocky sections and a lot more climbing than you'd imagine. Again, location and descriptions can be found on Trailforks. If you're in Cape Town, a chilled ride in the Belts is a must!

Probably the best place for a beginner in Cape Town. Nicely laid out and followable. Really nice to not have to ride on the road
